Testimonials for Dr Ojala

Dear Paula,

I thank you for your support for the international conference held by the Centre for Education and Research on the Science of Preventive Education, Naruto University of Education.

Participants were very satisfied with Kris’s presentation which told about Friends programs clearly and meaningfully for the preventive education we had discussed.

My boss raised some issues such as pay program materials and support for the implementation, toward which Kris managed the response very carefully and thoughtfully so that people understood the friends approach well. It was a really good job. Four members of Pathways Japan came to the conference to cheer on Kris.

I got very personal and positive feedback from some people in the audience such that they wanted to learn more about the program. A professor who has clinical psychology classes at Naruto University of Education, likes to visit you when I go to see you next time!! I will contact another professor at university in Osaka.

I hope Kris enjoyed the short stay in Osaka as well as the conference. For me it was too short to talk with Kris as I was a chair person with lots of work during the conference. I am looking forwards seeing him again in Brisbane.

I hope that your flight back home was uneventful and went smoothly.
On behalf of myself and of ITA I once more want to thank you for excellent and very inspiring workshop. The feedback was enthusiastic.
Within a very short time, you succeeded, to teach the fundamentals in such a way that most of the participants will be able to begin and apply the principles to work with children,  with enough help and supervision.   I also want to thank you for your willingness to come to Israel, after all the hassles of the Iceland-volcano chaos. We really appreciate the effort you made to come here, especially after already having given so many workshops in the UK.
Although it is not close by, I do hope we will see you back in the future, maybe for a somewhat longer period. We have many things to learn from you and from your team.
So thank you very much for a wonderful and inspiring learning experience.

Kris came to New Zealand for the second year to train psychologists in the Focus programme. I have always found Kris to be extremely professional and an excellent trainer. From 2008 and 2009 he has trained over 40 teachers and psychologists in the Friends and Focus

programmes. He always used relevant examples and all participants reported any question they had been answered fully and thoughtfully.

Personally my dealings with Kris over the last two years have all been excellent and I would not hesitate to bring him out to New Zealand again for training.  His participation in the development of the second edition of the Focus programme was invaluable and his insight and examples of client’s journeys were beneficial to all the trainees. I would be happy to talk to anyone by email or phone about any specific questions regarding Kris and our experience in using him as a trainer for both the Friends programmes and Focus.
