Learning to Learn

Set up for School Success

School can be a real challenge, but now it can be made easier. The Learning to Learn program gives students the best possible start to a new school year, with professional advice on how to learn more effectively, psychology talks and various anti-bullying programs plus teacher training. Students who start their school year feeling focused, organised and in control of their learning, are more confident and achieve more readily than students who start negatively. A positive beginning helps students to believe in themselves as learners and sets them up for further success.

The program allows children to develop skills in:

  • Staying on-task
  • Ignoring distractions and avoiding procrastination
  • Planning and organisation
  • Using different learning styles to maximise memory and concentration
  • Working co-operatively
  • Building confidence
