Pathways Health and Research Centre is approved as a registered provider of Therapeutic, Early Childhood and Behaviour Supports under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).
The NDIS will become available in Brisbane City areas from 1 July 2018. A person may meet the access requirements to become a participant of the NDIS up to 6 months prior to this date.
What is the NDIS?
The NDIS launched in July 2013 and replaces the old system where funds were forwarded to service providers and now addresses inequity in funds and services across states. It has been identified that everyone’s support needs are different and an individual can choose (have control over) the types of services and support required for them. A plan is created for each eligible NDIS participant based on individual requirements and the goals that they would like to achieve.
