Biography

Jo has been working with Michelle at Pathways since 2021 supporting the FRIENDS Groups and working individually with children both in the clinic and home setting. Jo began her time at Pathways as an intern working under the close supervision of Michelle Hall our Director. She is now a permanent and highly valued member of the support team who just loves working with kids and their families. She is proud of the difference she can make in a child’s life.

Jo works alongside Michelle in both the Fun FRIENDS and FRIENDS For Life Groups and provides individual and group supports to children struggling to feel brave, have a go, get along with others or make thumbs up choices when they are feeling big emotions.

Jo likes to engage a range of therapeutic tools including CBT and play therapy. The families Jo works with praise her calm demeanour and her ability to listen to their kids and quietly work towards improved social and emotional outcomes.

Jo is a born collaborator and enjoys working as part of the Pathways team and looks forward to continuing her learning. Jo is currently enrolled in another Masters program focusing on Speech Pathology in her free time.
